THB Podcast episode #004 an interview with the Paranormal Phenomenon Research Group.

The Haunted Buffalo PodcastIn this episode of The Haunted Buffalo Podcast, I head to P.P.R.G Headquarters in Clarence Center NY and talk with Chris Pirrone, founder and leader of the Paranormal Phenomenon Research Group or P.P.R.G for short. We discuss a bit of personal history, a bit of PPRG history and some insightful moments from PPRG investigations, including a few pretty sweet EVP’s. Look for a series of upcoming podcasts with Chris Pirrone, on Ghosts of Gettysburg. Lastly, I talk a bit about the upcoming Beyond Ghosts Paranormal/Horror convention that will take place in May 2012 at the Buffalo Central Train  Terminal. Not to be missed for sure. Well, enough of me talking and talking and talking. Time to listen to PPRG on … The Haunted Buffalo Podcast.

The Haunted Buffalo Podcast, Episode #003 The Van Horn Mansion

The Haunted Buffalo PodcastThis episode of THB podcast brings you ear to ear with me, Eric Charles T, as I creep and crawl through the somewhat dark and winding passageways (but none of the crawlspaces) of The historic and did I mention HAUNTED Van Horn Mansion of Burt NY or Newfane NY, whichever you prefer.  I was graciously invited to join the investigation by  Beyond Ghosts (Para-historians), who happened to be putting on the event. Within this tape is some history, some good excited tale telling from the mansion staff and the usual, fantastically stitched together web of strange moments, ambient bliss and flatulent. So please, please … seriously please, put the headphones on and listen to the soothing sounds of THB podcast, Van Horn/Beyond Ghosts edition and feel free to drop me a line after, telling me exactly how you felt about the experience. Keep in mind, I use a free and beta version of an audio editor, so some of my technical prowess is dismayed by slow processing power and a slightly glitchy interface. Or … it could just be the spirits messing with me.

P.S. As always, if you have a story that you’d like to submit, or an investigation you’d like me to cover and report on, send an email to thehauntedbuffalo@gmail.com and I’ll certainly get back to you. Let’s get your stories out there!

TFICast 142: CEO RPG

Jeremy and Erik toss back a couple of Black and Tan’s.  Jeremy admits that he voted for Ross Perot and attempts to layout his political position.  Erik reads predictions from the Nostrodamicon.  Jeremy wonders what a tractor pull is and is surprised when Erik knows the answer.  Lego demolition destruction derby’s are remembered.  The future of nuclear energy, conjecture and exaggeration to prove a point are hotly debated but is interrupted when a spider invades the podcast.  Attention is switched to inventing solar powered parking lot lights.  Erik references Gary Gygax and then invents capitalism the Role Playing game.  A little nostalgia is touched upon when Jeremy talks about making movies.

TFICast 141: Special Features

Jeremy and Erik discuss DVD outtakes.  In particular Erik is enamored with the Super Bad outtakes.  Aqua Bhudda, political let downs, Bud Select 55 and Erik’s gernerational connection with Super Bad are all discussed.  This leads Jeremy and Erik down the path of Parties in highschool and what their alternatives were.  Abruptly, Erik quizzes Jeremy on the details of a Simpsons diorama.  Once Jeremy fails the quiz Erik lays out the future of podcasts.  Then they try to figure out how the witches in the Wizard of Oz work in terms of who gets what direction (North, South etc).  Speaking of the Wizard of Oz, the topless Judy Garland outtake on the Wizard of Oz DVD is invented.  Finally they imagine what it would be like to confuse the comedy club for a strip club.  It is all here in this shortened, heavily edited, from the archives, somewhat disjointed episode of the Fundamental Interconnectedness of All Things podcast.

TFICast 140: Sharpening the Sword of Reality

Jeremy and Erik talk about how some NPR host used to slurp on NPR.  Erik predicts his Build-A-Bear at the Mall experience and then pontificates RFID chips in stuffed bears.  Jeremy gripes about losing tools.  Erik and Jeremy make fun of  Buyingtons magazine.  Then they talk about Thanksgiving foods and how Erik despises pecans and almonds.  Games such as Angry Birds, Mario, Pac-Man and Kick the Can are compared.  Finally, Erik sharpens the sword of reality.

The Haunted Buffalo Podcast, Episode # 2

The Haunted Buffalo Podcast

The Haunted Buffalo Podcast

In this episode of The Haunted Buffalo Podcast, you’ll be ‘treated’ to a few moments of my 3 year old trick-or-treating, followed by true stories of the unknown from Jake in Buffalo, NY who has seen shadows at his grandfathers house! You’ll be moderately traumatized by Michelle from Franklinville, NY, who, Ouija board in hand, apparently released the Kraken in a local haunted cemetery. You’ll be somewhat muffled, hearing Jennifer from Connecticut talk about her Grandfather, saving her from beyond the grave! You’ll be uncomfortably numb, listening to another Michelle, this time from Fort Erie, Ontario Canada, talk about her haunting experience! Next you’ll get petered out by Pete’s tale of a haunted recording studio in Cleveland, OH! But WAIT, there’s more! In this episode, I’ve started a new section called “Shorts … of the unknown!” where people can send in even the shorted experience and still be a part of it. This one is so short it only has one short! Finally, THB leaves you with an interview that I did for 91.3FM/WBNY. In that I try to explain more of what The Haunted Buffalo is all about, because not only is it a podcast, but it’s also music/design/photography/merchandise and more, all based within the common theme of “I don’t know what the heck just happened”. Soooo, pull up a relaxing situation, tune in to THB for the next hour or so, and let your worries fade away fast, listening to the horrible situations that happen to people. Just don’t forget about the muffins in your oven. As always, if you have a story to submit, please email me at thehauntedbuffalo@gmail.com BE A PART OF IT!
