Still loving the podcast even though I’ve never been much of a wolverine fan and he’s been the main focus recently.
Anyway, now that Storm has met Yukio she will be adopting her cool 80’s mohawk pretty soon and I think in honor of that I should share with you my idea for the Storm mixed drink.
You’ll want to start with a hurricane glass (if you’re lacking in barware any other glass that holds 20 ounces will do)
fill the glass half way with ice,
Add 1 ounce of dark rum
1 ounce of grenadine
1 ounce passion fruit syrup
and fill the glass the rest of the way with ginger beer.
To garnish cut a thin wedge of lime and pull the meat off of it (why not squeeze some of that lime juice into the drink?) bend the rind so that the white part is showing and place it atop the drink like a little white mohawk.
This drink should be simple and sweet enough without being too sweet and is inspired by the drinks ‘Dark ‘N Stormy’ and ‘Hurricane’.
Also! If Storm is a vampire at the moment, as she sometimes is, you can substitute cherry crush for the ginger beer.
